Children's Ministry

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”  3 John 4

We want every child within our church family to know that they are loved by God and understand how to love Him.  We believe that children are able and eager to grasp simple truths about God and who He is to them through Jesus Christ.  John echoes the cry of our heart here at Dry Creek - for our children to know God and enjoy a personal relationship with Jesus. 

Our ministry to children seeks to communicate God's principles with relevance, creativity, and fun; that ultimately produces changed lives.  We want to model to our children an example of trust in and obedience to Christ.  We seek to select and train teachers who have found their gifting in teaching and loving the children, while the children's parents are able to learn and worship without distraction.

Our children’s development as disciples of Jesus is a very high priority at DCBC.   Through singing, prayer, Bible stories, and fun activities we are seeking to carry out DCBC’s mission – “To make disciples of Jesus within an atmosphere of grace”.
